Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?
I offer an end-to-end interior design service as well as bespoke design Master Plans and consultation packages. All are bespoke and tailored to your needs. Whether you’re looking for a Complete Design Service or just need a Fresh Pair of Eyes on your your space, I can help you transform your home into a vibrant, welcoming reflection of your style and personality.

I also offer a Design Only Service, often referred to as E-design, which is perfect if you’re ready to take on the implementation yourself. This is the highest level of support for those who don’t need help with project management but want a meticulously crafted design plan to execute.

I’ll provide a design experience that immerses you in every intricate detail, allowing you to bring it to life at your own pace. I go above and beyond to create a truly personalised journey, taking care of elements that may not have even crossed your mind.

What information do I receive ahead of our project commencement? I have put together a client Welcome Pack which goes into more detail about what you can expect. You can view a copy here.

How do you charge for your services?
Every project is unique and our prices vary accordingly depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We understand that full transparency regarding budget is important to you which is why design fees are a fixed price. There are no hourly fees or increases for unexpected delays or challenges. That said, should the scope of the work change, we will revisit the design fee. If the scope increases, the design fee will increase accordingly. You’ll always receive advance notice of this as part of our constant communication. After our initial design consultation held over video, I’ll then visit your property (a £300 fee is charged at this stage), I’ll gain a deeper understanding, go over all the finer details and understand the complexities, this then enables me to draw up a bespoke fixed fee proposal which details the phases of your project and the corresponding fees.

To make sure you get the best creative energy, knowledge, expertise, considered design and attention to detail, access to the best contractors and suppliers and our trade relationships, there is a minimum design fee of £5,000 for a single room. This price will vary depending on the scope and complexity of the room.

For large renovation projects and/or whole home projects, the minimum design fee is £25,000.

These fees exclude VAT and do not cover project costs such as contractors, materials, fixtures, furniture and fittings etc.

Why is there a fee for visiting my home? The £300 fee reflects the expertise, experience, and value I bring to what’s known as a site visit—the first step in the process to transforming your home. This visit allows me to fully assess your space, understand your vision, and identify any constraints, forming the foundation for your bespoke design proposal, in real life - which is vital.

It also ensures commitment from both of us, making the most of our time together. I gain the insights needed to create an accurate and thoughtful fee proposal.

Plus, it’s a great opportunity for us to see if we’re the right fit to work together on this exciting journey.

How do I work out my overall budget? I’m here to support you in this. I will work with you around the pulling together of quotes and overall budget, making sure that all things are considered. Your total project budget should relate to the overall budget you have for the project as well as a minimum 10% contingency. As a guideline, this should include all professional fees and services (such as main contractor, architect, interior designer and landscape designer) and supply (all materials, furniture, furnishings and so on). A general rule of thumb for the designs I work on £10-£15K per room is not an unreasonable budget (not the case for kitchens or bathrooms).

Is there a solution if I can’t stretch to a full-service design? If you still want my energy, informal approach and specific expertise, as well as a love for colour and pattern in your project, then Design Only Service is for you. This is a design guide, tailored specifically to your home and style. With everything from mood boards to furniture recommendations, you'll have the clarity and confidence to bring your vision to life. Prices start at £1,750. This allows you to execute the designs at your own time and pace and when the budget allows.

What makes your approach different from other designers?
My style is all about creating bold, vibrant, and personality-filled spaces using a confident mix of colour, pattern, and texture. However, it’s ultimately about your style. I work closely with each client to understand their tastes and preferences, ensuring that the end result is a space that feels uniquely you—one that’s both luxurious and welcoming, with a sense of sophistication and a dash of fun.

Check out the portfolio here.

I manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring a seamless and stress-free process, so you can focus on enjoying the transformation. I’m a lot of fun, upbeat and informal so if you value this is your approach, we’ll have a lot of fun creating your dream home.

What should I expect from the initial design consultation video call?
Our first call is a chance to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your style, needs, and what you want to achieve. There’s no need to show me around your home just yet—this is all about understanding your vision and making sure this is a great fit for both of us. I only work with clients I know I will enjoy spending time with and will have some fun along the way. You can book your slot here.

How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the scope of the project. A single-room might take 6-8 weeks, while a full-home redesign is likely to take several months or longer. We’ll discuss specific timelines during our consultation to make sure we’re aligned on expectations. It is not unusual for a whole home project to take a minimum of 6 months to design before any work actually starts. The sooner you reach out, the sooner we can start to plan and design your renovations.

Should I speak to a Builder or Architect before engaging with you? The short answer is no. I will take your ideas, work on floor plans and layouts, understand how you live, and how you want to live, and then work with my trusted architect to turn them into technical plans. I have a network of highly skilled builders who are ready to receive plans when they are fine-tuned. This is a collaborative process between all parties. However, bringing me in at the end can lead to rushed decisions and little time to fully scope out the designs before building work starts which is not optimum and can lead to major delays. If you are working to a particular date, take the first step now as I can guarantee, it will take longer than you think to plan. Book in your video design consultation here.

Do I need to have a clear vision before we start working together?
Not at all! I’m here to help refine your vision and bring it to life. Whether you have lots of ideas or aren’t sure where to begin, I’ll guide you through mood boards, samples, and suggestions until we’ve nailed a look that feels perfectly ‘you.’

How do you work with busy professionals who have demanding schedules?
My full-service design is tailored for busy people. I handle everything—coordinating tradespeople, managing timelines, and overseeing installation—so you can focus on your work and home life while I take care of all the details.

Do you manage trades and suppliers?
Yes, for full-service projects, I handle all the logistics, including liaising with contractors, suppliers, and tradespeople. I will make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible, so you can simply carry on with your busy life and looking after everything that you have going on and know that I am taking care of everything.

Can I use my own trades and suppliers? In most cases, I work exclusively with my trusted network of trades and suppliers. These professionals are highly experienced in high-end homes, talented, understand my process, and ensure the level of quality and attention to detail my clients expect.

That said, I’m open to exceptions for specific trades or suppliers if they are highly recommended, meet my quality standards, and are willing to collaborate effectively. We’d need to discuss this upfront to ensure they’re the right fit for the project and that it won’t disrupt the overall flow and outcome.

How do I know if you’re the right designer for me?
If you love bold colours and interesting patterns, and want a home that feels vibrant, welcoming, and full of personality, we’re probably a perfect match! But it’s also about connection—I want to make sure we get along and that you feel confident and excited about working together. That’s why the design consultation at the start of the process via video call is so important—it’s a chance for us to see if we ‘click’! I promise I will only make an offer to work with you if I truly believe I can help and work collaboratively with you.

Can I keep some of my existing furniture and art?
Absolutely. I love working with pieces that have a story or hold sentimental value. We can integrate your favourite items into the new design or suggest ways to update them to suit your new look.

What areas do you cover?
I work with clients in Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, and SW London. If you’re based elsewhere, I’m happy to discuss options for virtual consultations!

What if I don’t like the final design?
I take great care to ensure you’re involved in the process and love each stage of the design. We work collaboratively, so by the time we get to the final design, it’s a true reflection of your vision. If there’s anything you’re unsure about, we can discuss adjustments and make it work for you.

How do I get started?
It all starts with a design consultation video call. Book your slot, and we’ll take it from there! If we’re a good fit, we’ll discuss the next steps and begin turning your vision into reality
